Battery relocation

Does anyone know where they screw the aluminium battery box into when relocating it to the front right hand side where the expansion bottle is?

I don't have a clear picture of it, this is the best I have

Essentially I shaved ~1mm or (whatever the thickness of the battery box was) off the engine mounting spacer and then the other end fits between head and rad.

I also mounted the solenoid into the battery box and shortened both leads[1] along with rewiring the bike to move everything round, CDI is now under the front subframe along with fuse box, RHS switch gear is still on the original connector so that if it gets smashed I can just buy/borrow a replacement rather than have to rewire something.

[1] Although from memory it made <100g difference, you may not want to bother ;-)

The reason I'm doing it is to use a CBR1000RR tail fairing nothing to do with weight saving just want it to look nice :)

I meant the shortening of the wire saved 100g! If you're not bothered leaving the existing wiring loom in place and just a longer earth and power lead is far easier.

Lol, yes I got a bit anal on that, shortened all the leads, melted the soldered ends, prised open the terminals, shortened them all, re-clamped and resoldered! Then mounted the solinoid in the battery box, re-using the original bracket that used to bolt to the frame.
