It's been going on for just about as long as we have been friends and then a couple...

Mr VT and I seem to be on an eerily similar (if not exactly the same) wavelength.

It ranges from liking the same music, food, outdoor pursuits, animals, cars, bikes, decorating the house, etc to general things like thinking the same thing at the same time (which happens at least twice a day).

We are so alike in our ways and thinking that its difficult to plan suprises etc.

Last month I rumbled his plan to take me to Paris for our anniversary, now Ive found out that he was planning to take me on my birthday next year, only problem is:

Ive already booked a trip to Paris for HIS birthday (which is the month after mine) and Ive had to confess that I beat him to it.

But my question is:
I was wondering if this was a common thing or if we were just lucky. How many .orgers have experienced this with their partner?

Count your blessings, my wife and I are proof that opposites attract.
We don't like the same anything... music, food, outdoor pursuits, animals, cars, bikes, etc.
But somehow after 26 years we're still attracted so I guess I'll keep her a while longer. ;)

We do think the same things - we hate each other :D





Only kidding.

We're old-ish and still hold hands when we're out. And are both very young at heart. We spend the vast majority of our spare time together.
Spookily one will start a sentence only for the other to say, "I know" before the subject is reached.

For me....Lily knows what I'm thinking 99% of the time......yet I have no chuffing idea what I am thinking myself.....let alone her!!!! :-)

Drew is right.... I think for the both of us..... that way he doesn't get hurt by trying to think!! ;-)

The only person who really knows whats going on in my head is my sister as we are both the same.
