is anyone on here fitted an 98/02 r6 frontend onto 2004 sv650. and is it acu race legal.ta bobby

Depends on class, it is not legal in minitwins.

Fork lowers have to stay stock, I think you can have different caps so you can change to AK20s or emulators. Or just some proper springs and oil.

Or for cheap you can fit CBR fork stanchion and internals, not sure if this is minitwin legal though.

i,ll just stick race springs and heavier fork oil in.raced formula 400 ,s last year and wasn,t sure of mini twin regs.ta bobby

most people start with 9.0 spring weight, unless you have a tad more kg's like me i run 9.0/9.5
but i think you will find it very spongy on the compression stroke unless you put 30w+ oil in, we find welding up the damper rod holes and re-drilling with 20w oil much, much more fun.
