Bike Shops.
 

Pretty much every single bike shop in my area is closed until the 2nd of January:confused: Is this the same in everyone elses area?

Even closing Christmas day and Boxing day I could understand but until the new year :o:( shocking.

I was always under the impression that retail shut down for Christmas day and that was it, when I worked in retail thats always how it was.

I need a new helmet.

P.S Hein Gerricke were the only shop that is open around here until the 2nd of Jan... and they were rubbish when I went in today.

surely your not that desperate to go bike shopping that you can't wait till the 2nd.

Yeah, I am desperate. I need a new helmet and was supposed to be going out on the bike for two days on the 29th/30th.

I'm more shocked that retail shops are shut for that long in general when you would think they were after money.

I guess my ride is off as I dont fancy buying one online.

A) I have been in Egypt for 2 weeks since smashing up my lid. so not had a chance until now.

B)Christmas sales discounts, didnt expect every shop around to be shut... obviously ;)

well then you my friend are well and truly up **** creek without a paddle have you tried buster's they have stores aswell.

Not unusual for M/C shops to be shut between Christmas and New Year, not exactly retail in the true sense of the word, most make their cash via the workshop, tis obvious why HG is open, no workshop

indi shops round here are open all but xmas day, occasioanly clearing off early.
HG have a boxin day 'bonanza' on.

That is unusual to be shut for that long...but then why shouldnt they be? Im not sure whether any bike shops in my area are open/shut but I would imagine they are closed
