What's wrong with fork gaiters?
Can someone explain why we dont use fork gaiters? Alright I know they went out of fashion but colour matched ones dont look bad and stanchions are so hard/expensive to repair.

For this time of year gaiters do have their uses, and don't look too bad IMHO |

nothing wrong with them at all. Better than rusty or chipped forks. They should make zip on ones for winter.

Re: wots wrong with fork gaiters?
The only problem that I have ever had with popular neoprene gaters is dirt getting into them and messing up the fork legs. I prefer the traditional type.
Upper legs can be lubricated without every bit of junk sticking to them. I guess that is out of fashion too. |
