K&N air filter.

Can i fit a K & N air filter to a standard sv 650 sk4 without having to adjust the mixture? Any gains over the standard filter? :confused: Thanks, nic

Gains are mainly in the wallet as you can re-wash and re-use K&N / BMC time and again. Not sure of any massive gains in BHP, usually only acheived when fitting a full system and even then you're only talking 4 or 5 BHP max. if you fit an aftermarket filter it would be a good idea to get the fuelling set up just incase it does make it run lean.
