Anyone out tommorow?

Got an early playdate in York tommorow morning which should be done and dusted by lunch, and wondered if anyone fancied a ride afterwards.

Tell me about it - I had to find a battery charger for the first time because of this. There has been a bit of snowfall over this side of the M1, but I have managed to steal enough grit to keep the drive clear.

Yep, the wether sux

Passed my DAS 7th Nov 09, badly sprained my ankle fri 13th Nov (back on a week later despite my throbbing war wound - probably not the smartest move but couldn't wait) and now mother nature is ripping the **** and throwing piles of snow and ice at me!
The roads are too bad once the gritters have been out but when i slid for almost 20 meters (no, not on my backside but with my legs and feet acting as skis/stabalisers) i was banished to the supertram (sheffield) for a week.

I'm oing to offer a sacrifice to the sun gods as i've managed to get the weekend off but it looks like i might not be out Sat as it's snowing ass i type this....grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I must admit, it was horrendous when I nipped into the city centre for work yesterday - was much colder there than further east. If the snow is the same flurry we had here, it only lasted for about 20 minutes and didn't really settle, so it might still be possible to get out there.

Re: Anyone out tommorow?

I think you could be right.
Looks like it's only a smattering - if the goat I offered to Ra just now does the trick I could be motoring, that is unless I take the opportunity to finish off last nights left over ale.....

......hhmmmmm, tough choice but the bike wins hands down.

Let's hope that snow melts and big breasted topless ladies decide to offer free visor cleaning for any '09 Gladius owners (not sure which one is more likely).

It snowed - I polished off the remaining cider & watched some dvds the mrs got for x-mas.
Can you get a snow plough attachment for a SV?

Yes, only kiddin.:smt101

Hope someone got out - back to work Monday and it's snowing now.
I think I need a few more goats!?!?!??![-o<

Re: Anyone out tommorow?

Don't go there - I'm sure I saw a pic of a goldwing with a plough/snowblower attachment earlier.

Did get up to York initially, but they've decided that they want to have a more involved look at my bike to see why it's using oil again. ****ed off does not go far enough to describe how I'm feeling about that :(
