We will be hung over in Banbury mate, and I have the Mrs her this weekend so I think i'll pass on this one. I only have the Dullville on the road at the minute anyway so you'd leave me behind.

I have no working bike to ride and even if I did they are not insured, so that'll be a no for me too. Make sure you do the Wantage to Newbury road though. :)

It's quite a technical road and you have to be very much awake if you are going to ride it hard. Thinking about it, with the weather we have had recently probably not a good road to 'test' at the moment. The road changes almost on an hourly basis and is always worth a slowish ride through before tackling with vigour. It is not uncommon to come out of a corner to find a tractor in the road or even a car driving at speed cutting the corner. There are a few area's that can catch you out. An alternative is the A338 from Wantage to Hungerford. Fast sweeping corners with a couple of surprises. There is also the roundabout under the motorway that begs to be taken a couple of times on the knee. :) |

I might be up for it but it's entirely dependent on the weather. Forecast for the Reading area for most of the week is snow and rain so I won't be holding my breath.
