Mapping?
Hi all,
my dads started mapping cars and wants to have a go at mapping my bike. Does anyone know how to read the ecu and is it compatible with an obd plug? Cheers moo |

Re: Mapping?
Don't think the older bikes have OBD diagnostic plug. Mine's a 2009registered bike, it doesn't.
I have heard some models do have OBD plugs and that some can be interrogated using OBD function on some Snap-On scanners!! |
Re: Mapping?
I believe it can be done - ask SV650Racer, but she might not tell you as they do it for a living

Re: Mapping?
You can but map the ecu direct via the protech suzuki software. Works really well.
Bear in mind though mapping properly can only ever be done whilst on a dyno with the a/f settings. Butt dyno's arent that accurate!!!. |
