Stupid accidents
Have just committed a crime of massive stupidity. Warmed SV up with disc-lock on so I could put tools into shed, rode away 1 foot and CRASH. £$%@!!! Smashed indicator, tip off clutch lever and bent bar-end. Fortunately nothing serious.
What stupid mishaps/accidents etc. have others had? (I surely cannot be alone...):smt075 |
Re: Stupid accidents
I once ran over some broken glass, pulled up & checked over the tyre. Foolishly though I was on a slight slope and the bike rolled forwards and fell over.
That's where the scar on the alternator cover came from as it landed on the kerb. http://www.fastdruid.co.uk/albums/SV...80DSC02135.JPG Then one time I was on the VFR, navigated a gravelly car park, pulled up and got my lace stuck on the footpeg, I slowly toppled over finally getting free when the bike was at about ~45degrees and dived off rather than try and save it[1]. Druid [1] You can do some serious damage trying to catch 250kg of bike. |

Re: Stupid accidents
Simplest thing is a bit of ribbon or somthing on wrist...take off and put over bars or lever, and i always notice it just before i roll off so it all helps.
