This Weekend

What is the chance of anyone being out and about on the bike this weekend? Im off to give my bike its test run tomorrow (today really) for the first time since putting it back together. It would be good to get out on a ride or a meet of some description if anyone is game for it? :D

I can see a yellow pointy sliding down the track already, oooohhhh :santa:

I'll be up for a ride providing we can get my bike running, ordered my parts last Thursday, still have not arrived. "1st class"? I think not

There will be no sliding yellow pointies belonging to me this weekend! I forsee a fairly calm ride for me I think, certainly no race tracks!

Turns out im working this Saturday so Sunday is the day.

I took the bike out briefly today, feels pretty good all considered, the handle bars are ever so slightly out of alignment and the clutch lever is not fully returning to position without light encouragement, this will solve itself after a bit of use I would guess. Feels a bit like I am learning to ride again, 3 months off the bike has left me feeling a bit wobbily!

When i had my small off it really shattered my confidence, i felt every corner at speed i was gonna lose it.
Still trying to regain some tbh, but im taking things slowly and hopefully regain the all important confidence.
You being young i think will make it easier for you as if your anything like me when i was young i had no fear, i would never think of what if etc.

Let us know what you got planned and providing some of the points i raised earlier come good i will come along.

Ill probably head over to Mallory Park, there seems to be some nice roads from the A45 through nuneaton to Mallory. Might watch some of the other people going round the track for a bit.

The weather looks like it is going to be clear but cold.

Go out on your own and get your confidence back, put the advice you've been given in the past into practice and take it from there gradually building your confidence.:driving:
THEN and only THEN we will let you come out to play with the big guns :smt023

Don't forget if your out on the bike to take photo's of signs with body parts in them :winner:
