How much should I take off my bike when selling?
I've never sold a bike with extras before, and I have a few on this one. It's a K7 naked, and I've already sold the topbox and fitment, but I have a few other things I added, like Pazzo levers, heated grips, Beowulf exhaust, bellypan, rad and oil covers, scottoiler, r&g crash bungs.
I thought leave the exhaust on as it's probably dead fiddly to put the original one back on (I do still have it), and sell the levers and rad covers and crash bungs- I think it looks better with the bellypan on. Is that sensible? |

No sell them seperate, you won't earn off selling them on the bike.

Personally, I'd take everyting off bar the heated grips...unless they weren't glued on.
All the extras, you have on should sell easy. Folks say, extras don't really add much to value of bikes so no point giving them away for nothing. That's the most sensible thing to do anyway. Cheers Ben |

Put it back as standard as you can, standard sells best and you'll get little extra for anything you've added.

Your bike is the best naked SV I've seen, why are you selling?
Agreed that you'll get most money by putting it back to standard and selling the bits on ebay. |

Take it all off, a lot of people (like myself) will think - "looks nice, but the bike's probably been flogged" wheras standard (if in good nick) gives the impression of more gentle use. I wouldn't pay a premium for all those bits myself, except for the Scottoiler and maybe the levers. Much better to evil-bay them or put 'em on yer new bike =]
