1000 miles in 24hrs anyone done it?
 

Hi,

I just want to find out if anyone on here has done the 1000 miles in 24 hrs for the poppy appeal?

If so how did you get on?
what plan did you have and did you stick to it?

I'm thinking of doing it on my zx mad I know but it's for charity.

I once drove 1100 miles in 16 hours but that was in a car and on german autobahns for 5 hours... That's a right challenge in the UK on bikes!

Piece of wee wee.

I rode from peterborough to Barcelona in one go in July on my 33bhp SV and it took just over 15 hours I think... maybe closer to 17 including the ferry.

You will walk it.

Oh and we didn't really plan anything. We booked the ferry. Arrived in Calais at 00:00 French time and headed for Barcelona.
