Biketek heated gloves

Well just bought some.

£125 from raceleathers, I would advise anyone to try a pair on first as I ended up up with 2xl when I would probably gone for medium on a net purchase.

Initial impression, they fit well and are not stiff for new gloves, a little wiper is built into the left thumb for your visor.

The wiring kit is dead easy, fits direct to your battery and is 15A fused, decent quality wiring and connectors. All hooked up and they definitely work.

issues :- First little niggle is the controller is built into the section of loom that runs through your jacket and gets tucked into a plastic pocket on the back of the glove. so when the gloves are not in use, there is a lump of plastic controller swinging loose from the bottom of your sleeve.

The pocket is clear plastic, I wonder if this is likely to go brittle with time. I would be tempted to put the controller on the glove side of the connections. I might do this if I can find a suitable solid connector to spice into the loom. obviously then voiding the warranty on the loom.

More when I try them in anger.

Oh btw, routed wiring on bike. then fitted the loom in my winter jacket. doh bike wire positioned on right. but the jacket wiring plug is on the jacket left. reroute time
