Bringing back SV from Jersey (CI)
 

Long time no see..

Moved to Jersey a year and a half ago and had to change the registration papers, license and plates to Jersey ones.

Now I am moving back to London and cannot find in the dvla website what is the time allowance for Channel Islands vehicles in UK.

For the driving license is up to 12 months, but, providing I change the insurance (and pay the monster top up :( ), how long do I have to change the registration and plates back to uk ones?

How is Canary Wharf for free parking? looks like the £2/day parking is the main option... but crammed delayed unreliable public transport doesn't appeal too much to me.

It's is going to feel strange to do more than 40 miles an hour!! ;-)
(not like you want to with all the bl$"£$y blind junctions and tractors they have here...)
