Yes, they were fitted to my SV until I went to a GSXR1000k5/6 frontend (purely for the looks and radial calipers).

Only difference between them and TL forks are the springs ('busa has springs as std more suitable to SV, 'S' is too soft, 'R' too hard), length (they are 8mm longer than 'R' and 7mm shorter than 'S') and the mudguard mounts.

The only reason I'm not selling yoke as well is I had a stem pressed in and IMO its far better (with the curvy) to use the TWF top bearing and I believe the pointy doesn't need it, TL yokes just fit and have the steering lock in the right place.

that sounds like a plan druid are you prepared to hold the wheel discs and spindle for me, PM me a price if you want. will these tl1000 forks fit my pointy with no hassle?

I'm not the one to ask on pointy's but I believe the head bearings changed from the curvy ones to ones the same as all the other suzuki's. So the yokes bolt straight on. Only thing I'm not sure on is the lock stops and steering lock, I believe the pointy is offset to the right in which case the TL1000R yokes would be a better bet, the TLS yokes have the steering lock in the centre the same as the curvy SV. That might just mean that you can only lock the steering in the straight ahead position.

Most of the USD forks are a bit short to keep the same geometry as the SV as standard, TLS forks are the longest decent Suzuki USD ones until the GSXR600/750K6 onwards ('busa are second).

ahh fair play, im not too worried if the steering lock only works in the straight position, as long as it locks. all im really after is to get the bike on the road with a bit of bling lol

yeah i saw these earlier today, ive got a bid on some k4 1000 forks atm that end on 5 days, if not i maybe tempted to get these. cheers for the heads up though :smt023

Mate has a front end from a K7 SV650, forks, clipons, yokes, calipers, no front wheel though.
