Need a bumbag to replace the Oxford 1st one that a Shanghai taxi driver took a shine too.

Re: Kriega - Worth the price tag?
I have an Oxford Tailpack / tankbag and also a Kriega US20 tailpack and been very pleased with it. Definately IMHO worth the money
the Oxford stuff whilst being very good, leaks. The Kriega doesnt. The Kriega has a 10 year guarantee. The oxford IIRC doesnt. The stitching / quality of the Kriega is miles ahead of the Oxford stuff I have. The way it attatches and fits to the bike is also vastly superior IMHO. I really do think it is worth the extra money. |
Re: Kriega - Worth the price tag?
bro has a kreiga tailpack and he swears by it, loves it.

Re: Kriega - Worth the price tag?
Have a US-10 here, well worth the money I feel. Not leaked a single drop in horribly heavy rain, and doesn't move around at all once secured. It's expensive kit compared to other stuff, but it does what says and the quality shows (the 10 year guarantee helps as well!).

Re: Kriega - Worth the price tag?
I managed to blag a free kreiga tailpack from the almax dude on here. Its a brilliant peice of kit, and I use it for keeping my locks in when riding about :)
I have an oxford tankbag. It's crap, but it does the job on the once-a-year time i'll use it. Personally, I steer clear of oxford products now unless its the absolute only thing that I can find. My new motto, specific to oxford products is "buy oxford...buy several times then lob it in the bin and buy something that works" |

Yes! Get one!

Re: Kriega - Worth the price tag?
In short, yes.
Got the R25 rucksack and it's amazing, so comfortable I don't notice it's there, even after 250+ miles. |
Re: Kriega - Worth the price tag?
I have a US-10 and can only say it is a very impressive bit of kit. Mate bought 2 and sold one on to me for 20 quid unused which is a bit of a bargain.

Re: Kriega - Worth the price tag?
I've got the Kriega R35. Great bit of kit and has lasted years. It can leak slightly in torrential rain, but is otherwise waterproof.

Re: Kriega - Worth the price tag?
I've had an oxford tankbag for 3 years and it's sometimes had daily use for months at a time. Sure it will leak an eggcup worth of water if you ride through a monsoon for 4 hours, but you should pay enough attention to waterproofing your kit that this isn't an issue.
I wouldn't pay that much for luggage, sure it's fancy but I'd rather just put my kit in a bin bag in the cheap luggage and spend the savings on beer. |
