Jets and Hyabusa pistons
Where can i get a 136.5 jet from?
Also, do standard Hyabusa pistons fit standard bore of a 650? Luke |
Re: Jets and Hyabusa pistons
What carbs for[1]? Most places I believe drill the jets rather than actually get them in such increments.
IIRC they just need a hone. Druid [1] Different makes have different scales. |
Re: Jets and Hyabusa pistons
What drill them! bloody hell.
did the sv have different carbs then? |
Re: Jets and Hyabusa pistons
Yep, easier than carrying a load of jets. I personally prefer to swap jets but hey ho.
Original Mikuni carbs then rather than Kehin flatslides was what I meant. :) Do you know which type jets they are (I've avoided doing jetting on my SV personally), N100/604 (large round head ~8mm), available #50 to #180 in 2.5 increments or N102/221 (small round head ~6mm) available #50 to #200 in 2.5 increments. Or N100/606 (Very small ~4mm head) #30 to #150 in 2.5 increments. Druid |
Re: Jets and Hyabusa pistons
What do you want 136.5 jets for? Way small.
They're the small head ones but the big head ones fit too. |

Re: Jets and Hyabusa pistons
I buy jets from them, fine place to deal with.

Re: Jets and Hyabusa pistons
they are Mikuni carbs,
bike was running crap, due to bending a valve last year so i put a 3000 mile injected in running on carbs, Steve jordan set it up on the dyno, and said should go 1 size down and 1 up on the needle! But i don't know what size is in the carb. |
Re: Jets and Hyabusa pistons
ok what mods are done to bike.
