Motorcycle Checks Before Buying?
 

Does anyone know of any reptuable companies or people that do these?

Looking at getting a new bike but would like one done, around birmingham, warwick area?

AA or RAC or someone like that might.

Best to either edumacate yourself or take along someone who knows what they're doing.

If it is Matts mates GSXR750 and it is the Birstall near Leeds where he is I can go take a look for you. Otherwise find a garage who's local and ask them to have a check over it. If he is serious seller and you paying I doubt he'll mind meeting you at a garage with it.

yeah mate would apprechiate that alot, i 95% sure im gonna get it, my mai problem is i am going on holiday 2morrow so wont be able to sort till next friday!

yeah im going to tenerife so ill have my phone which has the net. so i should be able to do that.

yes that would be good if you could matt said he reckons the guy would keep it locked up for me until i get back.

Spoke with him again and explained your situation, he says you've text him already but he's not interested in swapping for the SV.
He'd take £500 as a deposite and he welcomes the idea of YC popping round to give an independant review of it. (good excuse to have a play on a 750 YC :D)

Further to that I suggested if YC does go take a look he can post up a confirmation thumbs up thumbs down value for money etc to prevent 10 different organs all wanting to go round each night this week to kick his tyres. I trust you'd accept YC's view of it as been impartial?

Happy to take a look but I have no interest in buying it so am not willing to risk £500
