Plea for videos...

Big favour to ask .orgers, probably a long shot but might as well ask :-)

Does anyone happen to have a video of their dog/cat playing with a toy? Such as a dog catching a ball or a cat with a ball of string or something? The vid needs to have the animal moving i.e. either pouncing or jumping. And before you say anything, I've tried youtube and the videos are just not good enough quality for what I have in mind. I need to be able to take stills at various points but the youtube vids just end up blurred.

If you think you can help please drop me a PM and I'll give you an email to send your vid to.

Also, I've just thought, if you use that camera function that allows a number of frames to be taken in quick succession that would also do beautifully :-D

Thanks in advance! :)

Yep. Got one (not uploaded online tho) of our cat going loco with his squeaky mouse. Fairly close up, and about 45secs at a guess. You're welcome to have a copy. If it's not quite what you're after he is a sucker for catnip nibbles, and does anything for them. We have him sussed lol.

I'm just off to bed now tho so can send it to you 2moro lunchtime-ish if you PM me details.

Are you looking for video's to get action still from? If so...

This is one I've just come across looking these out, with lots of detail and texture that I guess you'd probably like for your drawings.

PM me if you want anything in high res

Did you ever get round to doing that drawing of Murphy, if so could I get a copy?

Hehe, no digital much preferred, don't even have a vhs machine in the house!

That would be great Colin apart from the fact Murphy's legs are mostly hidden :-P I need the whole body really, legs being pretty important! Thankyou though, that vid always makes me chuckle hehe.

Your cat one is pretty good though!

Yes mainly although as mentioned if you have a few photos in succession then they'd be just as good. They need to form some sort of sequence you see.

For once huge detail isn't of great importance, as I can get the general gist of that and put it in myself. The body outline is mainly what I'm after, dogs and cats (cats especially) have most interesting poses when in pouncing or jumping mode :)

Not as yet, I have the photo though. I'm really busy atm preparing for an art fair so some projects have been put on hold until then. I will definitely let you know when I've done it though!

Thanks for the help guys, really appreciate it! :-D
