I got the job!
 

Hi,

few will know id been looking for a new job.

The position is Web designer, and i will be part of a 3 man team coding and designing the websites of: Jessops, WHSmiths, Aldi, Lidl and many more big dogs.

Truely my dream job since i was 14!


On the 22nd (last monday) i had my first interview.
3 hours later i get a call asking me to go in for a seccond interview!
they said they liked my enthusiasm and the fact that my inexperience in main stream design meant they could mould me, and not change me.


so on the 26th (Friday just gone) i had my seccond interview.
Went very well and basicly i got a call this monday saying theyd like me to take the job!

So effin stoked its unreal.

earning 8k more than i am currently and they will be send me and the team to germany every 3 months to meet up and shake hands with web designers from across the globe! How kool is that!?!

Best get learning german though ey ;)

I start this increddible job on the 15th to do a weeks hands on before the guy im replacing gets transfered to germany.

i think i hear the sound of an RSV rolling onto my drive ? HELLLOOO MONEY!

Just thought id let you all know and look forward to hearing what Speedplay has to say.

hopefully not calling me ghey again :P

is C0ck the new one then lmao.

Based in Warwick. Tachbrook Park. about 45 mins down the A46 and M42 i beleive.

little extra fuel than my current work but the pay more than makes up for it.

Thanks so much for helping me get on those sites. wouldnt have found it without those.

i already told him. he actually tried to pull the "well thats a shame because we where going to give you duncan's job (my Supervisor/dosser) and that would have effected your salary, What will your new salary be?"

i told him all about going to germany and the benefits and that the salary was so much more than he could ever afford and he just shut up so i left the office.
