Anyone removed Motrax crash bungs before?

Hi all

Just trying to remove the Motrax crash bungs after they got damaged in an off I had a few weeks ago.

The left one's off no problems but the right hand one has a spacer between the bung itself and the engine mount. The bung screwed out but now I have the spacer sticking out and need to figure out how to remove it...

Photo of the spacer is below:

I've tried mole grips on it but the outside just spins around and the thread in the middle doesn't move.

I was thinking maybe getting needle-nose mole grips to hold the outside and the thread part?

What do you guys reckon?

Cheers loads all :D

Bump...

Tried again to remove the spacer again this evening but no joy...tried needle nose pliers on the inside thread and outside part with mole grips to clamp the two together but no use.

The outside part of the spacer is now loose, keeps jamming where it fouls on the engine mount. The engine bolt is loose, I can rattle the spacer from side to side but can't get it to come off.

Any ideas? I could try a dremel on it although it would be pretty risky...

Sorry guys...:smt090

Sorted with the use of hillbilly tools!

Needle nose mole grips on the spacer and normal mole grips clamped to those...
