Curvy restrictor dimensions and fitting.
right i know theres alot of info on this but carnt find what i need to know.
ive fitted some washers that i had made up using dimensions off this site think it was 1mm thick, 44.23mm diameter and 18.41mm center hole but mine are 18.40mm will this be a problem? also ive lifted the carbs off there rubbers and fitted the washers there is this right? as i expected a lip or something for them to sit on but there wasn't just a hole that got smaller to the cyclinder i think? the bikes going to be dyno'd this week but just wanted to make sure everything sounded ok first and just to think the restriction is up july but the weather makes me want to get out on it:p cheers for any info |
Re: curvy restrictor
.1mm difference on the ID will make no noticeable difference IMO
There is almost certainly a lip inside the carb rubbers. |
Re: curvy restrictor
ok maybe i missed that then but does it sound like its in the right place?

Re: Curvy restrictor dimensions and fitting.
cheers for the help yc
also i insured it today and went for a spin but still feels powerful but it is my first bike. i also got it booked in next week for a dyno run to check its at 33bhp but the dimensions on here should be right so hoping for a sunny weekend:D |
Re: Curvy restrictor dimensions and fitting.
I wouldn't bother with a dyno unless your insurers want one TBH. Dynos overread.
