Tutoro Chain Oiler
Tutoro chain oilers have just been give a "Ride Recommended" in Ride magazine this month, I was a chain oiler but want to install it myself and like to keep things simple, so this appears to fit the bill. Anyone got one that could comment on their long term effectiveness?

also saw this and for £20 isnt really bad. Although you have to manually turn off on on unlike scotoiller but then you pay the extra for those perks

Re: Tutoro Chain Oiler
To be honest I like the idea of the cheapness plus the simplicity of being able to fit it without having to tap into either the electrics or whatever.

Re: Tutoro Chain Oiler
Made one myself decades ago:
Cigar tube + model aircraft engine ' tap ' cost < £1 Wish I had it now. |
Re: Tutoro Chain Oiler
also has double outlet now rather than single

Re: Tutoro Chain Oiler
The scotoiler is 'better' for a commuter bike but is faffy to fit, for a bike that is just a sunny Sunday toy the Tutoro looks just the ticket.

You'd be better carrying around a can of chain lube and giving it a little spray now and then. |
