They are lovely bikes, just a shame they feel so lumpy :(

thats true, I forgot how much a twin vibes until I started up my SV yesterday, I was just leaning it aginst my side. Still, its not the horrible, high frequency vibes you get from inline 4's that make your hands and feet go numb

I love these bikes, I would love to have one for weekend fun next to the daily commuter SV

Why is a lumpy engine something to be avoided?

It just means you have to think a bit more about low speed riding, and they often feel more alive. Multi's sort of spoil peeps.

I think the problem with SP2's is the fuel range and the ride. They certainly look the part, plus being a H*nd* it's bound to be reliable. Also it's one of the few of that brand, that turns heads still. IMO.

If they were anyway near comfortable (dont know from personal exp but I cant imagine almost everyone is wrong...) id be tempted. Guess I could have 2 bikes? ha ha

As a side note. They are known to be a bit on/off at low RPM which would suck, and obviously a bit thirsty, is it known that a PC3 will fix these?

Oh I doubt it, what you'd find is a bike so focused that it'd be of limited use, I know three people with them and none use them for anything more than the odd trackday or sunny sunday, not an easy bike to ride well by any means and a dam heavy clutch as well, over heats in traffic quit consistently, lovely in the right circumstances, but normal use isn't what it was designed for or does particularly well.

Cheers Mark.
