What would stop a curvy sv charging?
 

Currently trying to get a curvy sv to start, it starts straight away off jump leads... But doesn't seem to hold a charge?

Any ideas?

Ok so where abouts is the reg rectifier? Hmmm this could be a pain trying to solve.

When it's running the lights flicker and when it's revved they stop flickering. Am I right in thinking that's probably the battery.

Reg rec under right hand seat panel(as your sat on it)dunno ins and outs of multimeter readings tho.

Battery likely if you take jump leads off and it carks it. When was the last time he rode it?

Search for a post by Sid Squid, theres some really good instructions on how to check the charging system is working properly.

No, thats where the main fuse hides (and starter selenoid jobbie)

To get to the reg rec, you need to take off both seats, and remove the rear plastics.

Cool found it, can you buy these from anywhere on a Sunday, maplins or halfords etc?
