It's Carters Steam Fair, which is a old-fashioned steam powered funfair. It's well worth going to. It was very traditional early 20th Century in style, but the current owner is into 50's rock'n'roll and is trying to make the fair more 50's. So I'd assume that's why there introducing a wall of death.

Personally, I prefer the more traditional style.
