Tyre manufacturing date

Mmmm, so here I was thinking that the manufacturing date was clear when purchasing new tyres.

My fresh race rubber turns up and the rear shows a manufacture date of 0810. I thought that was 08 - August 2010 (clearly impossible). I presume the 08 represents the week number within 2010.

Either way, nice and fresh! :-)

Mike - that's the best before date....you shouldn't use them after 08/10
