Midlands Ride-in to NWR6

Right, this is my proposed plan for next Friday.

Discuss.

Leave Rugby at 9.15. Could be earlier if Mr Spiers and seggons are up for it.

Get to Dans. Here:

http://www.dansmotorcycles.co.uk/home.htm

Arrive 10.45. Leave 11.15 after a cuppa.

Up to the Ponderosa

http://ponderosa.viviti.com/

Arrive 12.30. Leave 13.30 after a bite to eat.

Do a roundabout route over to the bunkhouse taking in the Pen-y-Pass both ways and stopping at the Snowdon Railway

http://www.snowdonrailway.co.uk/shop_and_cafe.php

Photostops and Ice Cream stop also included

http://www.glaslynices.co.uk/info/info.html

Scenic trip is about 105 miles

Get to the bunkhouse for 18,30. Dump gear and nip up to local shop (2miles) for essential supplies.

Should point out that the rideout from the Ponderosa is optional for those that are still up for it. For those who don't want join us, please make sure you know how to get to the bunk house.

I'm flexible. It's only an hour from mine to yours so you set the time and I'll be there. :)

Sounds good to me Pete.
So is it 105milew from pondy to bunkhouse via that scenic route? Still not going to take us 5 hours surely? Unless I've missed summat?

Seggons, you wanna do the same as last year n meet me on the outskirts of Northampton?

Yeah that sounds good to me, I can avoid the boring A14 altogether that way. :D Name a time and place that's convenient and I'll be there. :)

Depends when Pete wants to leave, looks like he is itching to get out at 6am :)

How about the same place as last time:

Time to be arranged once Pete tells us what ridiculous time he wants to head out haha.

If I'm not on the roundabout I'll be tucked up in this little side road. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&so...,0.004823&z=18

:)

The idea is to stop at a few places en-route Chris, including the ice cream place. Hopefully get a few nice pics. If only of the snow!

Not sure how busy the traffic will be on a workday morning, G, hence the after 9 start for us. I appreciate Scott and Chris will have to be leaving earlier, but can't sensibly make it much later. The timings are sorta worse case scenerios and if all those that posted they are coming are at a meet point and we're ready to roll, then we will. Want to make the most of the day, but without too much pressure to get to the bunkhouse at a reasonable time. :)
