Fuel exhaust baffles
 

Fitted my stainless fuel end can a few weeks ago. Love the sound with the baffles out. 2 questions I need answering. Do I need a remap or do have any of you guys run without this and has it caused any probe mixture wise ? Also what is the penalty for being stopped by the law ?? Points, fine or both ?? Ok so more than 2 questions but what the hell.

I got my ecu remapped for baffle free motoring (pictures coming soon) and it made a pretty noticable difference, smoother everywhere and easier to get up to speed. The disadvantage is that over time that feeling goes away and you wonder how you even noticed the difference!

i've got a fuel exhaust and have the baffle out most of the time. I didn't get a remap or anything like that and haven't had any probs.

re the cops - been pulled over once and got a talking to, cop mentioned that anything louder than OE is not allowed. I said 'yes officer', was very respectful and he let me on my way after a promise to put baffle in. he also said he would keep an eye out for me lol. almost a year passed with the baffle in and haven't seen him again. removed baffle about a month ago :)
