Laying up bike - battery life?

Im possibly going away for 2 weeks,I have a datatool alarm on my bike.would the bike battery last this long or will I need to take it out and put on charge.I have no power in garage so would have to take the battery home and put on charge. What would happen to the alarm if I took the battery out for 2 weeks

Re: Battery

Mine has a Datatool fitted by Triumph and I've had no problems leaving it for that length of time. Do you know how old the battery is? Has it had any prior issues? etc.

I have datatool and battery is fine if left for two weeks. You would have to disable alarm to remove the battery. Id rather leave the battery in knowing the bikes alarmed, you could always give it a quick charge when you get back if need be.
