Re: Hel brake line kit saved by Goodridge part
I fitted HEL braided lines to the front of my Gsxr last weekend, they were a new, boxed set off eBay. And guess what?
One bolt had the wrong sized thread also. I had to reuse one of my old bolts which looks crap! |
Re: Hel brake line kit saved by Goodridge part
Was it one of the caliper bolts you had to re-use and did you tell Hel about the problem mate.

Re: Hel brake line kit saved by Goodridge part
HEL send enough wrong pitched/length/bent parts out to sink a ship.

I've got a Nissin M/C from a S model & one from a naked model. One has a fine pitch thread the other has a coarse pitch. Why? Unless they've checked every banjo bolt, this is going to happen. They've probably checked one banjo bolt from one manufacturer and assumed they are all the same. I had the same problem as you |

While this is a fairly common problem, for the reasons stated above, HEL are good at sending on replacement parts (pretty quickly too). I called on a Tuesday morning and got a bolt at lunchtime next day.
