As requested, pics of my lovely Yamaha :)
... that's Yamaha YBR 125 for those of you getting excited hahaha. Nicknamed José (from the licence plate), we are getting on just fine, love him to bits :D :D :D
http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._6512069_n.jpg The exhaust painted black to keep off the rust for a bit till I can afford a new one lol. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._1514413_n.jpg The old rusty swingarm... http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._2992593_n.jpg Check it out! Pretty colours :-P http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._4739372_n.jpg And the cause of a whole day's faffing about, the spindle rusted so badly it fused to the casing bit and had to be drilled out  I love my boyfriend  http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._8293893_n.jpg This is what happens when your clutch needs tightening and you try and avoid a lampost :P Bruise on knee after 2 days http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._3275921_n.jpg After 3 days :-) Ignore the hairyknees LOL http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._6927119_n.jpg And finally, me :) http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._7070283_n.jpg |

As for the knee, well that happened 2 seconds after trying out the YBR for the first time. Had to pull out of our drive (RH bend) and the clutch was unbelievably loose. I wasn't comfortable with it at all, and lo and behold I mess up the turn, bounce up the kerb and find a lampost swiftly heading in my direction. Ended up[ grabbing the front brake (mentally thinking i am NOT going to crunch into that lamppost) and stopped right in front of it, locking the front in the process and slowly dropping it. Just banged my knee in the process. It looks worse than it is though. I like bruises, they go pretty colours haha :-D |

Ah i see, how old is the YBR? and is that swingingarm from it as well?
bad luck as well, got of lightly though! :thumright: |
Re: As requested, pics of my lovely Yamaha :)
Oh now that suits much better than the CG :-)....naming it already??,
YC will be disappointed when you start doing the woman 'emotionally attached' thing :-) As for the rust, I never thought I'd see anything on a bike rustier than Suzy's old shock.....that swingarms on a whole different level!! |

I'd imagine it feels a bit more stable too? You sit more in it rather than on top of it? |

And YBR's are good little bikes, I passed my Mod 1 on one of them. Fun few days training blasting through the Surrey countryside on it. Fantastic little learner bike, and a lovely fart-in-the-bath exhaust. Hope she does you well and you have a long, happy time together! |
