Photo Request
Would anyone be able to or be kind enough to take a photo for me.
Im looking for a photo from someone who has a stainless rad cover i need to see how it fixes on preferably on a curvy 650s it looks like they fit to the sides of the rad but on my rad i there are no bolt holes on the sides just the one rubber grommet that the side panel clips into So any photo's would be much appreciated so i can finish my design. Cheers |

Someone may have done a one off like you're trying to do. There are rad covers for the naked curvy, I know cos I bought one for my S model. Only to find out it wouldn't fit #-o Interested to see if you can make one to fit |
Re: Photo Request
you can just see in this pic where the bolt on to the ends of the rad
http://i357.photobucket.com/albums/o...2/P1040364.jpg i think the k1-2 are the same this is the k2 rad http://i394.photobucket.com/albums/p...0/NewImage.jpg thats for a naked curvy |
Re: Photo Request
No, thats a naked rad. Faired version has brackets for rubber grommets which the upper panels push fit into.

Re: Photo Request
Cheers for all the replies guys, I think i have just come up with the solution to how im gonna make it fit I plan to still put sides on it but then make it attatch top and bottom with the 3 mounts which i just drew up and reckon i can get to work.
Furry Ginger are you bringing those headlight mounts for me to have a look at and make you some new ones? |
