Aggh women drivers
So I nipped to the local Tesco for some provisions.
So I need to reverse out of the parking space. I need to swing it to the right as it is marked one way only. So I wait for the traffic being me to clear and start edging out, when. The woman who had passed me decided that in order for someone in front of her to exit she had best reverse and didn't bother to look if anyone was exiting a space behind her. I saw her coming at me. hit my horn and bang. Cheeky mare said, oh it will paint out. Can I pay you for the paint. Err no love, it is a company car and you have cracked the bumper. Even though it is not my fault. an accident will get recorded against me. She wasn't even blond or beautiful. An old dragon that had fallen from the ugly tree in an R reg Peugeot 306 wreck. She does assure me that she is insured. Time will tell |

Re: Aggh women drivers
Oh no Tim......that's not good. Although to balance things out, I had a very similar thing last week in a quite Sainsburys car park. Boy racer with zero driving skills decided to cut across the car park (in itself not bad if you have your eyes open) at a silly speed and thank god I use lots of obs or that would have been a fair old bang.
I hope you get it sorted swiftly and why will it get recorded against you? Is that company policy? |
Re: Aggh women drivers
It will be on my insurance record as a non fault claim. These sort of things whilst they do not effect any ncb entitlement etc. Still have to be declared in the "Have you had any claims in the past 5 years" section of policy quote requests and as such you tend to get penalised as statistically you are more likely to have a claim if you have made previous claims etc.

Re: Aggh women drivers
Well done mini KK!!
Mind you I do have my test booked, so watch out Tim, blonde in a Landy driving in a town near you!!!!!!!! Saying that I was in the learner car last week, and some a*hole bloke was kissing my bumper. Bearing in mind I wasn't doing the usual Learner car slow speed, instructor told me he didn't want any interesting driving on this particular road, as it is a steep incline with a tight S bend half way down it. Needless to say ignorant impatient car driver overtook me stupidly after I could feel his breath on the back of neck all the way, irony was, he had a sticker on his bumper saying ''keep your distance''!!!!! |
Re: Aggh women drivers
I've had men do the very same thing to me. So it's not just a woman thing.
