K3 SV 33bhp restrictor removal

I have just bought an SV which is restricted, however i dont need the restriction so want to remove it, the owner said they didnt think it was an ECU restrictor and that it was washers, have read conflicting reports online about whether this is possible and where the restrictors are? :-|

Any help gratefully received

Have a look inside airbox

We took a throttle stop off of the side of the carb recently on a restricted SV. It prevented the full movement of the throttle opening and was immediately obvious though...

Carb ones do not use throttle stop AFAIK, unless someone has made their own.

It would have been a fuel injected one, my bad! Not sure what that part is called.

The stop was a very nasty thing made out of plate and bolted to the side. It prevented the flow of air by not allowing the full opening. Seemed a bad idea to me anyway and made the throttle response feel really nasty by only moving a third of its potential.

Anyway, what do I know, I am a mere housewife these days... :-({|=

On EFI bike that part is called the throttle body.
