The Rideout Thread - Summer 2010
 

Following on from Electro's thread about the AR and the blindingly successful Buxton Chippy run. Here's a thread for suggestions for rideouts. I'll go first...

• Ice Cream run to Aber Dyfi, home of the awesome 'Sweet Shop Special' ice cream. A meal in itself!
• Backroads Bimble - on minor roads / single track at a slow pace to take in the scenery.
• PROVISIONALLY - 24/25/26 September NWR6.5, same format as NWR6.

As I'll be organising these, they will be North/Mid Wales rides.

Any other suggestions?

Backroads one sounds like fun. There's a corker of a road from Dinas Mawddwy to Llyn Efyrnwy.

Agreed the backroads sounds good!

Fish & Chips at Conwy last year was nice. I'm happy to put something together for that but again it's North Wales based (doesn't bother me, I love those roads!).

I'll be up for the backroads and NWR6.5. Let me know when you need paying for the NWR :p

There has certainly been a lot less rides this year than normal in all regions :(

It's on the run I have in mind ;) Took some bikes up there about a month back, most enjoyed it.

Organise one then? :D

The peak district is pretty rubbish now, bores me now with to many 40's

I'll try and sort a Leicestershire/Lincolnshire one out as we've been spending alot of time down there.

SO long as i get the time off and my bike is upto speck ill be up for it.. i got a number of things planed that am hoping to get done befor my bike gets seen by other eyes,, bar maybe one or to BIG! mods as money is a factor lol..

but i hope to have half done befor end of june if not abit more.. so i shoud be up for it.. not sure how i would carry tent sleeping bag and so on as there wont really be place to put stuff but am sure i can work somthing out.. .. or if its a nice night i might just sleep under the stars :P ( ****ed as a fart )
