Naked headlight shell repair?

My headlight housing has split, can anyone recomend a good adhesive or technique for joining it back together? Im not even going to try superglue as i would imagine it wouldnt be very permenent, would plastic welding be the way forward? Any help would be apriciated, cheers!

plastic welding leaves a mark the same as welding metal does. Welded fairings are usually rubbed down and painted after welding to cover it up.

If it has split and it wasn't due to a crash or other impact, it probably means the plastic has become brittle due to long term exposure to the weather. So I doubt any repair will work too well.

Might be better to look for a replacement...
