Re: that road past nont sarah's
We have a private road like that too, it was made to exactly the same plan as that road up nont Sarahs, at approximately 120mph on the Starship Enterprise, I was bounced out of the seat also, so much so that the Enterprise couldn't reach warp factor nine and had to slow down to allow me to re perch.

If it is just you leaving the seat a bit that's fine but it shouldn't be bottoming out or kicking your ar*e with the rebound. |
Re: that road past nont sarah's
i like the bouncing :-P

too much info miss yc!
aye chris its not kicking me in the **** im just leaving the seat. Ive backed those screwythings (think there called compression and rebound ;) ) back off to "soft settings" and its much much better. still not sure if i should upp one or the other or not tho. anyhoo was just wondering as i thourght it was a particually bumpy bit. |
Re: that road past nont sarah's
you should try the road over Widdop way from Hebden Bridge, now that's bumpy!

Re: that road past nont sarah's
I know that road very well. There are a couple of dips/bumps as approach up hill from nonts that nearly have you over bars at "hyper" speed. Sheep seem to hang about there as well so watch it, I think they like it ther cos they enjoy hearing you go "JESUS" as your lower regions hit the tank!! Coming up the other from scammonden bridge also upsets bike when getting over enthusiastic and wants to tankslap. Good on visibilty down hill once it straightens abit to open it up, Had 170 out of my 1000 down there but backed off when my eyes went blurry from wind buffeting! Plus there is a gang of lads who only ride those roads nearly every night in summer and all way down to Delph, they hang around by small reservoir near delph end.(The one with 2 tight 90 deg corners, one of which is polished and very slippy. You have been warned!) These lads lay in wait for any "heroes" and try blast em in to weeds as they know every bump and dip. Alot of crashes happen up there so dont get taken in. That ride on my thou is why I bought a 600 trackday bike and rarely ride on road any more!!!!!!!!!!
