Speed cameras in Tittensor on A34
 

Was riding away from Trentham Gardens today and went through 2 rear-facing speed cameras in Tittensor at 60 (40 zone). I noticed a 40 reminder sign after the second camera, doh! No excuses, I guess I just wasn't concentrating enough.
I couldn't see if they flashed as the sun was behind me and quite low in the sky.
Does anyone who rides or drives in this area know if they've been active lately? I'll still sweat for a week or 2 no matter what the answer but hope is always a good thing.

I will try and find out for you.... I have done exactly the same in that 40 strecth and got nothing but that was not recently ......... it's a bad strectch, 60 into a 40 then back to a 60.

when I lived in stone for 2 years that section was a PITA it is set up for money making.

apparently there are somewhere in the region of 39 speed cameras in that area, between stafford and newcastle taking into account the ones in side roads off the a34. clarkson even commented on the road, on top gear one year. i was convinced i got zapped by a mobile camera on there a few weeks back, by monkey forest. so far nothing, so fingers crossed! let us know how you get on cairo!

The 2 weeks is up so looks like I got away with it. Not that I'm advising anyone to speed through cameras.

A mobile camera in a place I've not seen one before - on the A539 between Ruabon and Overton-on-Dee, at the end of the long straight, half hidden in the bushes as the road goes round a slightly uphill left bend.
