Turning Bike Round on Stand

Well to get my bike into my yard I have to take it down an alleyway, 44 point turn it to get it lined up the the gateway (alleyway is about a 2ft wider than the length of the bike and the gateway is about 10mm at each side wider than the bars!), notice I've angled it wrong and try again.

Once in the yard much going back and forth is required to get it tucked away in the corner.

All this would be infinately easier if I could turn it round on the sidestand.

I've been trying this way but I can't get it. I stand at LHS of bike, bars to full left lock, one hand on the left grip, the other on the RHS of the tail of the bike (I don't have a grab rail).

I then lean back and the back comes up as far as I want it to but the front stays planted! I've tried adjusting my right hand position but I can't nail it!

Any suggestions, I know it's possible with no grab rail as yorkie_chris spun it round easily enough getting it out of his garage!

Thanks in advance!

I use the RHS pillion peg as a lever for my right hand.

And put the bars to full lock on the RHS.

HTH.

lean back and pull hard towards the rear wheel, lifting the front up, pivot it on the stand and rear wheel. You dont really pull the grab rail anyway so should be easy without one.

Here, made a quick video.

Cheers mate, my problem is the lack of grab rail.

I'll give it a go using the heel plate as suggested

should be just as easy i think, as its the bars you pull on, the rear hand steadies it,pull towards the rear tyre, not the stand.
