MM3 Details sat 10th

O.K, weather looks ok so meet at Shrewsbury services @ 9.15 - 9.30. leave no later than 9.45. Ride to Quatt for a short break and meet at least one other person, (Marion). Then carry on to Ludlow (across the corvedale) and on to leominster to the American diner for lunch. up the A44 to Cross Gates, down to newtown, Churchstoke and back to Shrewsbury via my house for those that want to come for a final drink before heading home. As we may have a few peeps new to riding in a group lets keep the speeds sensible and enjoy the scenery, My mobile no is 07812 140888, i suggest people take a note of it to call if going to be late for any reason. 2nd man drop off will be used to keep together, therefore no need to play catch up if held up for any reason. total mileage is aout 150. Any questions ? Any more coming who haven't put their names down yet

Daryl

Nicest way from your neck of the woods mate is the A49 all the way down to Shrewsbury. It's a quality road :D. Then skirt all the way round Shrewsbury on the A49 and the services are at the junction with the A5 south of Shrewsbury, you can't miss them.

It'll be the Esso, postcode SY3 0DA.

If you're coming and you go down the A49 to get there, beware of the mobile speed van around Prees. It's there quite often I find, and one weekend morning about 8:20am I didn't expect it to be setup that early... how wrong I was but thankfully nothing came in the post!

It is the esso station, on the big island with traffic lights and dobbies garden centre, if you think the A49 is a nice road just wait until you see the rest of the ride out roads. They are superb. I kid you not.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

daryl.

Can I just ask what you consider a sensible speed? I`m all for rideouts to encourage new members but with a good 2nd marker system and a TEC nobody should get left behind whatever speed they`re comfortable riding at.

I`m only asking as I have known some riders to get frustrated on a rideout that`s nothing more than a slow bimble andI feel that a good rideout should allow all riders of all levels to enjoy their day.

tis a good Question from the speedy one..

I understand your concern though Daryl with a few newbies might be overawed with my considerable rossi like skill...
