This morning, leathers are impossible :(
And even this jacket is in the afternoons horrbile. God what a heat.

Nice pic but am tempted to say I hope your hospitals have good air conditioning as you`ll be needing them in the event of you (god forbid) having an accident. Even abroad when I thought I was going to melt with the heat I always wore full leathers for protection.

As uncomfortable as it may be wearing leathers it`ll be even more uncomfortable lying in hospital having just had 6 foot of road gravel scrubbed out of your limbs!

I agree with you. When I picked up the motor I was wearing my leathers....
But I tell you it is impossible, yes one day it is fine and when you are on holidays . But when you live and work in a hot city things change. After a day of work for example you system has gone up in temperature, the asfalt in the city is steamy hot, Barcelona is like London traffic wise.... :(

May I ask where and under what circumstances you rode in the heat ?

BTW again: I agree with you, I tried to use my leathers but it really doesn't work: I havent spotted even one (!!!!) motorcyclist using leahters here in the city and 98% is riding with low shoes or slippers, shorts and a tShirt. 20% is using gloves. I think that has a reason.
And yes I feel uncomfortable without protection and I am looking forward to october when the temperatures go down

I dont go riding over here no matter how hot it is without full gear, you can get cooler protective clothing then leathers btw.

just bought the mrs a new textile jacket as we are off to france after the AR and she said the jacket she has was too hot and uncomfortable, £50 bargain from race leathers, even though it will be scorchio we will not be riding without protection, if it gets too hot we will head to the hills. :D

draggin jeans ankle boots and a summer textile jacket are your freinds here ,proper protection which you wont boil in

Yep draggin jeans are probably your answer... i have a really light textile jacket too.. not sure what it`s made of but it has no lining, mesh vents and light armour in the shoulders and elbows which is better than nothing.
