Repairing the SV

Ok, damage assessment. -02 Curvy.

Priority is to get it back on the road (cheap), not worried about cosmetics for now.

Definately need now:

-New can, bottom plate has popped right off on one side (although have original for now)

-Rear brake lever

-Right indie

-Screen

-Front bracket thingy. Can anyone tell me what this is called or part number??

Its the bit the the mirrors bolt onto, and the clocks etc. Tried bending it back but its just impossible to line up. As such the fairings wont bolt on straight.

-Lid

For future:

- RHS Fairing, upper + lowers

These are not even cracked, just scuffed. Wondering how easy it would be to sand these down....?

Need to cost this up asap...

Oh, one more thing.

Noticed a very slight knocking sound from the front when applying front brake

Lifted the front, head bearings were fine. No play, lock to lock smooth.

Front calipers looked fine, forks felt/looked fine.

Found out in the end it was the discs.

If you grab a disc and push/pull it, there is just ever so slightly some play radially (not side to side).

Mate said a lot of bikes do this, but to just make sure.

Thoughts?

I can sort you a clear screen and indie if the indie is a standard one. To save money we could ask if there is anyone in a car from your neck of the woods going to the AR on 6th aug and could they collect then no postage. I can post if you want though mate. £15 plus postage.

The metal bit that bolts onto the frame as circled here is the bit I need - What is it called?

Cool, thank you.

Just that front frame bracket thingy and rear brake lever now.

Cant believe a new rear brake lever costs £30...ebay seems to not have any.

I dont even know how to search the the other bit!

what you require is the front subframe, was about £108 new but that was a couple of years ago.
