Cherished Number plate cool or uncool?

Just bought a cherished plate on ebay.

Its a letter and a number Then SVS its for my 05 SV 650 S.

It was cheep so cheep i think the sellers going to try and wiggle out of it.

It says in advert winning bidder needs to pay the dvla change over fees of £105

This is fair enough but on the dvla site it says when buying a cherished plate from a private sale I will need to give the seller my V5 and the current Mot certificate so he can send them off!!!!!

This sounds really risky... so i post my v5 and current MOT certificate to some guy off ebay at the other end of the country, who has mentioned in his adevert he is selling the plate due to writing of his sv650s...

This is asking for trouble?
Advice needed!

Thats what i was thinking but the guy at work convinced me it was a good idea...

I liked the fact that it would hide the fact its a 05 as everyone who see's it ask's if its brand new.

It cost me £10.50

It was bought on a whim :P Line me up and :smt067:cool:

I don't like them...if anything it will make you more memorable to the rozzers!

If you are doing something to get the rozzer's attention, makes no difference if you have a personalised plate or not!

I like em. Well the ones I can make sense out of anyway.
