OMG - Zig Zag Hill, melbury abbas, Dorset!!!!
 

Whilst sat at the pub and discussing my shiny (but now scratched#-o) new bike, someone asked if I have ever ridden Zig Zag hill near Melbury Abbas?

Never heard of it and then I looked at this; http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/dorset/4683276.stm

Now I know that most of you lot have heard of it and probably ridden it, But me being a little Naive and out of biking for a few years have never heard of this, despite my favourite blasting road being the higher shaftesbury road to... (you guessed it) Shaftesbury which has the turning of to it on!

I need to ride this and ride this soon, its just really gay that Ive snapped my clutch lever in an almost 'drop the bike' situation!

Anyone ridden this road? whats it like, worth the hype?

I might do the A466 on the way to the AR, its aonly a little bit of a detour, its also a nice road, along the river :)

Its not worthy of the hype as you can only go round the corners at low speeds due to their sharpmess so no real challenge in it.

if it was a closed road then now that would be diff
