Contract advice/help
hello...im abit stuck so if your in the know....
For a phone so if anyone's clued up any help at all would be greatly appreciated. i have a 18month contract on my mobile and pay an extra £5 a month insurance. Now the phone has gone and stopped working ( touch screen is all buggered so its hardware not software issues im having.) Phoned O2 who said there's nothing they can do apart from repair it...but they wont replace it although its under 12months old and i pay insurance which now seems to be worthless as they said they'd fix it even if i didn't have insurance. What can i do or am i just left to be phone less until they repair and send it back to me?? Thanks Brock. |
Re: Contract advice/help
Do you have your contract to look at? I've always paid insurance (well Dan since I've been with him as they are on his contract) but it means that we've always just had replacement phones sent out within 24hrs.
That sounds a bit wrong to me, who is the provider and who is the insurance with? |
Re: Contract advice/help
I'd phone the insurance provider rather than the network provider. As mine has always been different.

Re: Contract advice/help
I'd say to learn to fix them yourself. I fix all of my phones. I recently fixed a Nokia 5800, cracked screen, dodgy touch screen etc. They are very easy to fix, you just need steady hands and a set of small screwdrivers.
What phone is it? There will be plenty of tutorials on how to fix them on youtube and buy the parts on ebay. Insurance is a waste of money for broken phones, they always mess you about |
Re: Contract advice/help
didnt get a chance to go into the shop today but tomorrow i will.
Its a tocco lite ...lots of people with the same problem but no fixes about...=/ |
Re: Contract advice/help
the big plus is. its an electrical item and is by law under warranty as it less than 12 months old and not fit for purpose.

Re: Contract advice/help
