New SV owner
 

Hi all,

I bought my SV two days ago and I'm loving it so far (especially third gear). I've wanted an SV since I started riding 7 years ago but have just made do with a 125 until now.

I think I got a good deal, 1999 SV650S for a grand with a brand new rear tyre fitted the morning I picked it up and some of the seller's gear. The mileage is quite high but to my untrained eye/ear it seems in good nick.

Looking forward to my ride to work tomorrow!

welcome and enjoy, but please dont feed the animals
you will know the animals by thier lack of spelling ability and genral rudeness
in fact thats pretty much everyone so hide your jaffa cakes just to be on the safe side

I'm afraid I do own an iPhone....... and an iPad........ and a Mac. But I promise I'll try to stay away from the Apple bashing threads ;)

No no nooooo, you've got it all wrong. It's the name for the older style SV650, before it was face lifted (to look better) and made to look pointy rather than curvy.
