cargo nets, which ones are good?

I have been testing my st with the load i need to take on the ar, got all the camping stuff in the panniers with room to spare, but the tent is too long so the only place i can see is strapped to the topbox, not ideal i know, but limited on options.
I have put 4 bungee ties on it, its alright but im wondering if a cargo net would hold it better.
Are they all the same or is it like everything else? if so, what brands should i go for or avoid.

Pic of tent on top box.

Thanks for any suggestions, useful ones anyway.

I got a free one off Superbike, which I used last year for the AR No probems with it

But I bought some Draper ones for another job, they seem ok as well.

I used a combination of cargo nets & bungee straps fror last years AR

My tent weighs just under 3kgs i think, in your opinion, do you think it will secure on the topbox?

I wouldnt put it there unless I had to.

Do you have a pillion passenger as well? If you do, I'd put it between the grab rail & the top box

If its too big to use as a back rest for the topbox then you're stuck, I'd cross the bungees over to opposite sides.

When I'd travelled 2 up, I never had a top box, so I didn't have this probelem.

Cargo net + bungees will see you ok.

Pass the bungee cord through the handle of the tent for another bit of security

Me too. Pillion ain't going anywhere sat inbetween panniers. They should only need to grab the back of you or the tent.

any of these, or loop bungee round tent as if doing figure of eight, cross underneath, then the second half of figure of, eight secure below topbox.
Cargo net it down if in doubt, but should be fine with the bungee tight round the tent and down the topbox.

i did think about here but that creates other problems, she has trouble getting on the bike with the panniers on, so with the tent it would be a nightmare.
Also, it would mean the weight's not evenly balanced (?)
