SV Clocks, interchangeable?

Hello all,

I was wondering if SV1000 SK3 clocks would work on my SV650 SK4, both pointies.

I need a new set as the LCD in my clocks no longer work, he dealer seems to think a refurb is out of the question.

Will the 1000 clocks bolt straight in or will the speedo sensor require changing for example. I just don't know.

Another question, the mileage for the given bike is stored in the ECU right? not on the clocks them selves? My bike has nearly 11K on the clock and the potential donor clocks has come off a bike that's done 1400.

Thanks in advance!

Sheepeh

Not certain as I've never tried, but they certainly look the same and use the same connector.
The mileage is recorded in the clock, not elsewhere.

Ah thanks Sid, anyone have any experience with the other bits?

Thanks
